So we're moved in but not quite settled. It has been a challenge to get all of our things packed into this tiny apartment that is half the size of our old place. We are grateful for the chance to live here because of the generosity of our friends that we are subleasing it from but it has its challenges right now...
We're still unpacking and can't wait to make a trip to Boise to see family and also to take a load of boxes up to Boise to get it out of this little place.
This was our first night in our new apartment right after Donny and some friends had helped us move in. (I was in class while they moved everything in) We bought dinner for the friends that helped move everything and then we ate what was left when I got home. The only place to sit was on the floor...so that's where we enjoyed our dinner!
(my eyes are a little swollen...it had been a long and emotional day...leaving our old apartment was hard!)

You DO have sad eyes. I'm so sorry! Glad you've got Donny there to comfort you, he always knows the best things to say.
You will make this new apartment like home in a hurry. It's very temporary. I wonder if it happened this way so you wouldn't have such a hard time letting go of Provo and BYU when you graduate. Maybe part of you knows it's an era closing that made it so hard. (deep breath) Now on to new fun and adventures!!
We are going to have so much fun when we get there!

I love how you've created your apartment to be your home even though it may not seem like it right now. Even though the closet is full of someone else's stuff...the walls have your touch and talent that makes it unique to you. I love what've you've done to it!
Moving can be the hardest thing! At least you have each other to lean on and I have no doubts you two will settle in fine and be very very happy!!! Hey, when you get a moment, could you please email me or facebook message me your new address so I can send you a wedding invitation?! We are mailing them out next week!
