:: VALE, OR ::
We decided that we needed to get out of town and do something fun this summer so we bought tickets to see Diamond Rio at the Vale, OR rodeo grounds. We borrowed Dad's 1984 Westy...Although the van looks ghetto, it is actually SO fun. It's the easiest way to "camp". The top pops up so it can sleep four (or just have great storage for tw0) and it has a stove, fridge and even a sink! I packed "man food'' along so that we wouldn't have to eat out.
Here is camp at Vale Trails RV Park. It was the best place to stay, if we go back to Vale in the future there is no doubt that we are staying there. They had nice bathrooms and showers and the large trees help to keep the shade over the camp area. The owners of Vale Trails were so nice too. They were so friendly and took such good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. It was perfect! (valetrailsrvpark.com)
The show started at 7 with a local band that opened, they were...well, they're local. During the opener I just kept wondering what we were doing there but then I remember the moment that Diamond Rio came on stage.
:: MUNCHING MOOCHER ::
This morning before I left for work I loaded up my laptop, my camera and all of the necessary cords for plugging said camera into my computer in order to blog during lunch. I hauled my heavy and bulging Kate Spade bag into work (since it is too hot to leave it in the car) and looked forward to the afternoon. Finally when lunch time rolled around I drug my heaping bag back out to the car. I drove quickly to the McDonald's parking lot to once more mooch off of their free WiFi while munching on my carrot sticks and sipping my cold Diet Dr. Pepper...and realize that even with all of the electronic goodies in my bag, nothing will make this camera attach to my laptop. So, no pictures to blog so I'm just a munching moocher.

::T-W-E-A-K-I-N-G::
So getting this blog to be just how I want it is taking quite a bit of "tweaking"...yes, just like on You've Got Mail...
Joe Fox: Teaking? A project that needs "tweaking"?
Kathleen Kelly: Yes.
Joe Fox: T-w-e-a-k-i-n-g.
Kathleen Kelly: -i-n-g. That's what he said.
Joe Fox: I think he's married. Married, three kids.
Well, I might as well have three kids with the amount of time it has taken me to figure out how to change these fonts but it is finally done. So, here's to tweaking! I promise that the next time I blog it will not be about blogging.
::3 MINUTES TO SPARE::
Thanks to McDonald's WiFi I finally got to figure out my blog fonts! I've been working on changing my fonts for a while and it is so time consuming filled with codes and research. I brought my laptop to work and right now on my lunch break I am sitting the Mickey D's parking lot. While munching on my sugar snap peas I finally solved the mystery and have never been so thankful for the golden arches!
So I'm headed back to work on time with my blog fonts figured out and ever 3 minutes to spare!

::TOTAL SLACKER::
So I've decided that should be my name now! Despite what it may seem I do think about our blog frequently but don't get on it as often as I should...mostly because I feel like it needs SO much updating. Well, here's my attempt to bring it up to date. There may be random things on here in the next little while but hey, it's worth it! I have been taking more pictures with blogging in mind so that's a start! So here's my come back into the blogging world!
And yes, I know I say I'll blog more than once every six months or in this case, once a year but I really mean it this time.
