Our Easter was so fun! We did EVERYTHING that people do on Easter...
The Easter bunny came to our house:
The Easter bunny brought Donny a kite, some candy, bubbles and a water gun. :) Here's his Spiderman kite!
The Easter bunny brought me more things that we could play with outside...a Nerf football, cool little sticky cup things with some balls and then...a Sudoku book! :) (Sudoku helps me to survive a couple of my classes)Then we put the ham in the oven and then went to church. When we came home I started cooking...here's what I made...
A pineapple glaze for the ham, homemade mashed potatoes, real dinner rolls, gravy from the left overs in the ham pan, grean beans...and then a white cake with strawberries and homemade whipped cream. It took a while but it was so delicious. We got a ton of meat off of our ham and are enjoying the leftovers!
Yep...all this for two people!
Then we went to the park to try out the kite and throw around the football...
And I got out the bubbles!
Then we went back home to die some eggs...
My personal favorite is the "Donny (heart) Ashley" egg!
And then we frosted the sugar cookies that I made on Friday. It was a new recipe too and we decided that it's a good one!
So, we had a busy yet really fun day. It was so nice to just spend time together and do all of the things that we could have wanted to do! It was my favorite Easter ever!

Your Easter dinner looks amazing. Wow, Ash, you went to a lot of work to make your first Easter together memorable. Thanks for taking pictures of everything...even the kite-flying. I mean, the kite-running! :) Your rolls look delicious. EVERYTHING looks delicious. Who would have thought you were so domestic?
